Itinerary - India
I first became fascinated with India on my first trip there in 1988. Since, I have returned many times, bringing multiple groups with me over the last twenty years. Ten years ago, I spent two months with my wife traveling all over India by bus, train and on foot while working on a photographic book on India and its wandering, holy men: the Sadhus. During that period, I traveled to almost every state in India. No matter how many times I travel to India, it never ceases to amaze me. October is one of the best times of year to visit India. The temperatures are mild and there is little humidity. I hope you can join us.

As part of the India CME Cultural Tour for Medical Professionals, this visit offers an in-depth look at the Taj Mahal. It’s unique highlights go beyond its visual splendor; it embodies a harmonious blend of Persian, Islamic, and Indian architectural styles. The complex’s meticulously landscaped gardens, reflecting pools, and the ornate calligraphy that adorns its entrance are just a prelude to the inner chamber, where the cenotaphs of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal lie in eternal rest. This iconic monument is not just a UNESCO World Heritage Site but a symbol of eternal love and one of the world’s most cherished masterpieces.
