Then, savor Cuban flavors during a cooking class with a local chef, and feel the rhythm of Cuba with an energetic salsa lesson. Beyond that, cap off these days with a classic car ride, cruising Havana’s charming avenues as live music fills the air. Later in the week, meet local doctors and tour a clinic, learning about the famous healthcare system.
Next up, venture into the lush landscapes of Viñales Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. There, you’ll enjoy farm-to-table meals, visit tobacco farms, and learn about local agriculture. Throughout your stay, engage with Cuban hosts over games of dominó, hear their stories of past struggles and inspiring hope for the future. Also take a sunrise hike and horse ride along the scenic trails of this verdant region.
Next, head south to Trinidad, through Cienfuegos where colonial charm meets tropical paradise. Also, wander the cobblestone streets, explore historical plazas, and relax on nearby white-sand beaches.
