Itinerary at a Glance
Arrive in Split, Croatia, and settle into your charming hotel in the heart of the old town. Meet your guides and fellow travelers over a Welcome Dinner before kicking off your Croatian Adventure. Split is a 1,700-year-old city and one of the most beautiful UNESCO-recognize pearls. Known worldwide for one of the best-preserved Roman monuments – Diocletian’s Palace, Split is a lovely blend of tradition and modernity. See it for yourself in the very core of the city where many shops, restaurants, and art galleries give life to old walls of the palace. With several beautiful beaches, rich history, amazing food, an interesting cultural scene, and great weather year-round, Split is just the right place for the Mediterranean experience.
Experience the authentic heart of Hvar Island with a scenic downhill hike from Velo Grablje to the abandoned village of Malo Grablje, where a local tavern lunch awaits. The next morning, enjoy a scenic road trip across Hvar to the ferry port, stopping for an olive oil tasting along the way. Moreover, the City of Hvar is often described as a true fairytale city with its architecture, natural beauty and mild climate. Also, it is a unique fusion of luxurious Mediterranean nature, rich cultural and historical heritage, and has become one of the favorite destinations in the Dalmatian Riviera.
Explore the beautiful Konavle countryside on a guided e-bike tour, visiting quaint villages, the Ljuta River, and a local farm. Join a hands-on cooking class using fresh ingredients from the garden. In the evening, take a guided walk through Dubrovnik’s Old Town, where you’ll see the famous city walls and learn about its rich history. Also known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” Dubrovnik is a city of exceptional beauty. This world-renowned destination is one that everybody falls in love with at first sight. And for good reason! Aside from the history and beauty, Dubrovnik offers excellent nightlife, the best restaurants and wine bars, a number of authentic delicacies, and a wealth of souvenirs. That’s one of our favorite parts of the Croatia CME Adventure for Medical Professionals.
