Our CME Courses
In addition to our signature Wilderness Life Support for the Medical Professional (WLS:MP) Certification, MedTreks offers four additional CME course opportunities designed for healthcare professionals at all levels:
- Wilderness Medicine
- Credits: 10 hours of Category 1 CME
- Focused on the essentials of wilderness medical care, this course equips you with the skills to handle emergencies in remote settings.
- Global Health & Humanitarian Medicine
- Credits: 10 hours of Category 1 CME
- Explore the principles of global health delivery and strategies for providing care in resource-limited settings.
- Global Health, Wilderness & Travel Medicine
- Credits: 12 hours of Category 1 CME
- A comprehensive course combining key topics in global health, travel medicine, and wilderness care.
- Wellness in Wilderness Medicine
- Credits: 10 hours of Category 1 CME
- Focuses on integrating personal wellness with wilderness medicine principles to promote resilience and balance.
Wilderness Life Support for the Medical Professional (WLS:MP, formerly AWLSP
- Accredited for up to 24.5 hours of Category 1 CME, this advanced certification course is ideal for healthcare professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in wilderness and remote medicine.

Nursing Continuing Education
All courses are approved for nursing continuing education.
- Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP16597, for 10 contact hours per course.
